The Erie mixer is the premier dual operating tilt mixer in the industry today.
It can be found in applications ranging from ready mix concrete, to paving
plant operations for highways, airports, high rise structures, nuclear reactors,
dams and hydroelectric projects throughout the world.
The mixer is made up of a drum shell
and a precision cut forged alloy
steel bull gear, seal welded in place.
The drum can be fitted with AR400
weld-in steel liners or 1" thick erithane(polyurethane) liners.
Four uniquely designed blades and buckets are strategically positioned
to provide thorough, uniform mixing action. They can be furnished with
AR400 wear bars, erithane liners, or fabricated completely from AR400 steel.
The drum is supported by two alloy steel main rollers and guided by six alloy
steel edge rollers at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. "Unbase" motors, couplings and
planetary reducers, drive the mixer through bolt-on pinion gears to the bull
gear.
The drive ratio produces the optimum drum RPM for proper blending.
This combination produces a mixing action so fast and thorough that
ERIE mixers can produce specification concrete in as little as 30 seconds.
The mixer is designed to discharge at a maximum height above grade.
This provides best driveway, and truck clearance under the mixer.
The mixer also discharges farther into the driveway than competitive mixers.
